A frame that built with long-distance comfort and endurance racing in mind. The Columbus monocoque fork insures sharp handling and steering accuracy. Suitable for the advanced amateur rider, the comfortable, compact sloping geometry will see you through the toughest of Sportives and other events. Also available in size XS, perfect for riders with standover height issues.
The top tube is reinforced at the edges and is thinner at the centre, just like the bones of a human skeleton. This principle reduces the weight of the bike without compromising its strength. The new 1-1/8” – 1-1/4” oversized head tube increases the stiffness in the front part of the frame. The curvature of the rear seat stays continues into the top tube, giving continuity to the carbon fibres, improving lamination and achieving progressive flexion control for a more fluid and safe ride.
The joints of the frame are the zones subjected to the most strain when the bike is being ridden. The bottom bracket area is a good example. These areas are dimensioned to minimise the forces acting on the frame, extending its life and increasing its reliability.
