The street version, now with disc brake, of the fixed gear Criterium chassis, Vigorelli Track steel, the Cinelli Team bicycle. The success of the Vigorelli steel track is repeated in the street version, maintaining the characteristics that make it loved by high-level criterium riders: triple-thickness Columbus Thron tubes, 20mm higher bottom bracket, rear triangle and track tube seat tube steering wheel and street fork Columbus Futura Disc. The through pin guarantees maximum stability and security. Performance and responsiveness for an unconventional bike.

Get ready to FLY

Bike comes 90% assembled. Super easy to finish up the build. You know how everything feels faster on an iPhone? Same thing, but for a bike. All the mechanics just glide, the frame and wheels are extremely responsive. Would not recommend for newer riders, this bike is aggressive. My only complaint is that the saddle is garbage, so, be prepared to replace that.

Good quality and value for the money

Bought this bike because it seemed like a good value for the money set. I also bought it for the looks. I really like the quality of the frame. It has nice carefully shaped welds, not bulky and oversized like I've seen on some aluminum frames of more expensive breed. The carbon fork was definitely a plus. I like the thoroidal shape of the wheels which is supposed to give it good aerodynamics. The brake set is good and reliable. I had to buy an extra cable jacket piece and two end caps to finish up the routing of the front brake, which has a little more slack than what is shown in the picture. Not a big deal. The rear derailleur is OK, not the best, but reliable from what I am reading. I had to fiddle with the adjustment as when shifting the chain to the biggest cog, the mechanism would shift one more step and interfere the spokes, while it couldn't reach the smallest gear at the other end. Obviously the whole thing was offset by one step in the wrong direction. But that's OK as well, the Sram website has the spec and the way to adjust it properly. I plan on adding a second sprocket on the crank side and the front derailleur but that's another project for another day. The overall weight is very good and seems pretty light, to me, for a steel frame bike. As the others said this bike is a head turner and I am happy with the purchase as initially I was almost committed to building a new bike from scratch. Seeing this made me change my mind and I do not regret it.

Cinelli Vigorelli Road Disc

It's a gorgeous bicycle. It sparkles and the wraparound graphics make it a head turner. The price is right for the frame and component set putting it in line with other steel framed road bikes on the market. I picked this for its paint job. I cannot lie. I give it four stars because quality from the factory could be a little more consistent. I was initially shipped the wrong size, no problem, the company sent a return label and shipped the correct size immediately. The bicycle ships with a fully built rear triangle, and even the RD required no adjusting. But the front shipped with a pre-crimped front brake ferrule which will not fit into the front fork internal routing. I had to recut and recrimp. Not a big deal, about an extra five minutes of work if you are a professional. The fork also came with the front disc brake bosses plugged and painted over and not knowing what they were I was reluctant to remove them. One phone call to a very responsive customer service department fixed that. Finally the bike shipped with a 100mm stem. Not what the specs said it would be 90mm for an XS and S. All said and done this bike is a solid entry level road bike. It weighs in at around 21lbs for a small size and most upgrades will make it feel like a new bike.

Fixie with Gears

First things first, the price is perfect ($1399) for the components. Took my new wheels out for the first time today and put it through the paces. Did about 30 miles and boy does this thing move. I did around 12.5 miles on a park road track and the rest of the miles were done trying sprints, controlled coasting and pedaling through sharp corners. The handling is very sharp and responsive. If you are used to riding a crit bike, then you will feel right at home with the frame geometry. The disc brakes are such a welcome addition and very new to my bikes. The steel frame is solid and the weld points are quite smooth and beautiful. Also for those who are as concerned about the color as I was, the bike is NOT baby blue. It is a much deeper blue with a glitter-like under coat. Overall a head-turning and very appealing bike.
